ASHTEAD REC. CAMPAIGN

ARC is a group of local mothers with a vision for improved play facilities and a larger play park in Ashtead.

Our Achievement to date:

 EXCITING NEW PLANS FOR ASHTEAD REC.

Over the past six months we have worked with MVDC Parks department to understand what local children want to see in an expanded, larger play area. 

The plans are exciting (click here to see), but they don’t come cheap!  The initial cost for the new play park is £65,000.  As the council are only able to fund up to £50,000 of this, it is ARC who is responsible for raising the rest.

We have managed to raise just over £11,000 to date via a mixture of fundraising events and huge support from local businesses and charities.  But, it's not enough! 
We urgently need to raise a further £4,000 by December 2010 and we need the continued support of Ashtead to help us…
